“As per the norm that in various regions I normally stay longer after that particular event or ceremony, the nation relayed a special request to have a Royal Residence in Mankayane. I want to assure you that that request has not been forgotten and I promise that by the time I return here in the future there will be a Royal Residence built here in Mankayane, to ensure that we stay longer here in this sub-region,” His Majesty stated.

  • Promote cultural significance. The residence can bring a sense of history and tradition to Mankayane, which can be meaningful for residents and visitors alike.
  • The royal family may also participate in local events and ceremonies, which can add to the cultural fabric and value of the town.
  • While it brings cultural benefits, the Royal Residence can also bring economic benefits through new opportunities.

His Majesty when addressing the nation disclosed various key developments that Mankayane has seen, some of which are in progress and others are still to be implemented.
